Your business has a core set of processes for which you hire top talent. Great! And then there are a lot (a woodshed full) of ancillary processes that support your business operations. That’s not your core business, and so it turns out that nobody in the organization is an expert in recognizing and hiring the right set of talent and tools to get those jobs done. But these tasks need to happen in order to support the business; propel it forward. Ask yourself this - how many of your processes rely on some Google Sheet formulas written by someone that’s no longer at the firm? (no shade at GSheets; they are wonderful, but they do have limitations).

Imagine this: You run a medium sized company that makes parfait (who doesn’t like parfait?). You have a chef, an operations team, maybe a sales team, a marketing team, an accounting team, a finance team if you want to get fancy, a few execs etc. etc. All these people have one goal in mind (at least you hope they do), and that is to make and sell amazing parfaits.
Now, who on that entire team thinking about selecting the right CRM, setting up the pipeline processes, collecting all those Glen Gary sales leads (IYKYK), setting up the lead scoring using rules that make logical sense, reporting on the sales performance etc etc? Who is collecting all the sell-through data at the 5 different sales channels, the shipping and delivery data, and putting it all together for all teams to use?
